The Machining and Product Realization Laboratory (MPRL) in the School of Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering (MIME) supports the work of MIME faculty and others across campus by designing and fabricating parts and components needed for teaching and research.

Students develop practical engineering skills and gain hands-on experience in the MPRL, enhancing their success in both academic coursework and extracurricular projects. The experience gives graduates a clear advantage in entering the workplace as well-rounded, technically savvy engineers.
