Chrystal manages the administrative processing of material transfer and confidentiality agreements, oversees the Customer Relations Management features of the Intellectual Property and Contracts database, and monitors the Export Controls database for the OCCD. She also provides backup support for the maintenance of the intellectual property and contracts database, including processing of invention disclosures, patent, and license records.
Chrystal has over eighteen years of experience working in academic, public, and research libraries. Before joining the OCCD team, she was the library assistant at the Washington County Law Library, responding to legal reference questions and helping to train public librarians about public law libraries and legal research. She obtained a Master of Library and Information Science degree in the spring of 2011, which included coursework in government documents and legal research and fieldwork with the Oregon Historical Society Research Library.
