Advantage Accelerator

Megan is a senior at Oregon State completing her B.S. in Bioengineering and will be the first engineer in her family. She became interested in intellectual property and product development through coursework and her previous work in industry at Shimadzu USA Manufacturing and ATI Wah Chang. Megan has a wide range of interests including medicine, business, and agriculture and hopes her work at the Accelerator will give her the opportunity to explore a variety of disciplines. She is currently working towards a career in the medical device industry; she is very interested in body systems and their functions as well as biomechanics and cell engineering.

Megan loves the outdoors. She enjoys many recreational activities including backpacking, riding horses, and biking while also spending as much time as possible with her dog. She has a lot of interest in traveling and plans to travel internationally after graduation.
