Violetta holds an International M.Sc. in Management from EUROMED, Marseille School of Management, as well as a M.Sc. in Economics from University Sorbonne-Pantheon, Paris. 

She earned her Ph.D. in Strategy from HEC, Paris School of Management. Specialist in strategy, entrepreneurship and innovation, she has authored numerous articles pertaining to the financing of new ventures, entrepreneurship and venture capitalists’ forecast. Having had visiting scholar positions at MIT Sloan, NYU Stern and National University of Singapore, Violetta is Assistant Professor at Nova School of Business and a visiting assistant professor at MIT Sloan (co-teaching the course of Ideas to impact: foundations for commercializing technological advances, with Ed Roberts, Luis Perez-Breva and Rory O’Shea). Prior to joining academia, Violetta worked as an analyst in a venture capital firm and a business consultant for entrepreneurial ventures.
