Mr. White is a Social Entrepreneur with extensive international experience funding and building Social Enterprises through innovative models of trade and development. Mr. White was most recently Co-founder and Chief Agriculture Officer at Flavorful Brands, a joint-venture with Bejo Seeds—world's largest hybrid seed producer, and House Foods Group—a multi-billion dollar Japanese CPG conglomerate. Overseeing IP contracts and supply-chain operations, he helped lead their multi-million dollar Series-A funding round completed in 2019. Prior to Flavorful Brands, Mr. White was CEO & Founder of Earth Equity Farms, Inc. leading a capital raise of $1M+ to build an international Organic & Fair Trade greenhouse agriculture company with 120 employees, serving top-tier U.S. retail customers and investing in Mexico's rural education and healthcare systems.

 

As CEO & Founder of Nexchange Organics, he raised capital to introduce the first Fair Trade certified tomatoes to the world market while developing Mexico’s largest certified Organic Orange Juice production for export to Europe. Investing in social projects among Mexico's rural poor communities, Nexchange generated $7M revenue in the first year of operations. While based in Uruápan, Mexico, he served as Supply Development Director at Fairtrasa International, the first company to introduce Mexican Fair Trade avocados to the world market while working with rural communities to remediate damage done by years of heavy pesticide use. Mr. White oversaw the development of Argentina's first Fair Trade certified agriculture converting 35 farming operations to Organic & Fair Trade and establishing the production base for Interrupcion* Fair Trade, a mission-based export company with offices in New York and Buenos Aires. He began his career as Business Manager at Fair Trade USA in Oakland, CA, contributing to the foundational success of the U.S. Fair Trade movement. Mr. White has a BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
