Rushil is currently a junior undergrad and majoring in Computer Science. His interest in the study stemmed from a desire to learn about software from both a theoretical and practical perspective. Rushil has worked on a variety of projects in the past. He had the opportunity to work at Avnera, an audio semiconductor company in Beaverton where he worked on product testing and engineering related projects. Two summers ago, he worked on an innovation team at Intel where he prototyped virtual reality spaces and worked on user experience design for consumer facing software products. Most recently, Rushil worked at Columbia Sportswear where he worked on building virtual reality applications that enhanced business processes as well as a number of voice application prototypes using the Amazon Alexa platform. Rushil is also a member of the Cinemark Chairman's Youth Advisory Board where he advises on projects in the movie theater industry.
In his free time, Rushil enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, biking/hiking, writing poetry and spending time with family and friends. He is a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers and Portland Trail Blazers fan.
Through participating in the Advantage Accelerator intern program, Rushil hopes to develop new skills, broaden his professional network and support emerging technologies and businesses in a meaningful way.
