Valerie is the principal consultant at Connected Micro, specializing in collaboration, change management, technology development, commercialization and integration of emerging microelectronic technologies.
After receiving her MS in Physical Chemistry at OSU, Valerie began an engineering career at HP. She contributed to the advancement of CMOS and MEMS technologies as a process development and integration engineer. Valerie became the Technical Community Lead and Program Manager for Global Technology Programs organization within HP Labs. In support of the CTO mission to build innovation capacity across HPs worldwide engineering workforce, Valerie partnered with corporate and business function sponsors to catalyze technical leaders in establishing twenty multi-disciplinary technical communities to drive collaborative systemic innovation.
Active in the MEMS & Sensors Industry Group (MSIG), Valerie is a 2014 Hall of Fame Inductee and an alumni of the Technical Advisory Committee. Leveraging her experience in technology and product development at HP, Valerie collaborated with fellow MSIG members to create a Technology Development Process (TDP) Template to be used as a reference guide for the growing industry.
